BTCCSquare news:

Nobitex, Iran's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has begun a phased restoration of services following a devastating cyberattack that resulted in nearly $100 million in losses. The platform confirmed spot wallet access for verified users on June 29, marking the first step in its recovery process.

The breach, claimed by pro-Israeli hacker group 'The Predatory Sparrow' on June 18, targeted Nobitex's alleged government ties. Attackers destroyed $90 million of stolen funds and leaked the exchange's source code in what became one of Iran's worst financial sector cyber incidents.

Users face critical warnings about deprecated wallet addresses. 'Previous deposit addresses are no longer valid due to system migration,' the exchange stated, cautioning against irreversible fund losses. Trading remains suspended as Chainalysis reports $11 billion in historical processing volume through the platform.
